Day 165, July 6: Proverbs 7-9

“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And I find knowledge and discretion.
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverted mouth, I hate.
14Counsel is mine and sound wisdom;
I am understanding, power is mine." Proverbs 8:12-14

  1. He who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself,And he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself.Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you,Reprove a wise man and he will love you.Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser,
    Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning.The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.If you are wise, you are wise for yourself,
    And if you scoff, you alone will bear it. Proverbs 9:7-12 How could you not just love this bible study!!!!!!!!!!! The Word of God is so WONDERFUL!! I remember reading this when I was having all the anxiety attracts and a friend was trying to speak wisdom to a family member. I also think of Hannah W. when I read this she rebukes me and I don't always like it at first but then I grow in the Lord.. I am thankful for her rebuke. Praise the Lord!
    Also a thought do you see Christ as wisdom in the reading today? Christ= The Word ,Christ= Truth, Christ= Wisdom ?
