I've read job before but I have not considered how purely raw and broken he declares himself to being. It is heart breaking. "Surly o God you have worn me out; do you have devastated my entire household. You're bound to me and it has become a witness my gauntness rises up and testifies against me. God assails me and tears me in his anger and gnashes is his teeth at me. my opponent fastens on me his piercing eyes… " so heartbreaking. (That was 16:6-9) But in verse 16:19-22 oh glory!! "Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high; my intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; on behalf of the man he pleads with God as a man please for his friend "
Job has completely summed up what it is to be a human in all its fatality and it's despair.
