Its wonderful to hear David's prayers and songs to the Lord.We know what he is going through in 1 Sam. We can see that his strength and wisdom come from the Lord as he humbles himself before the Lord giving Him glory and crying out to the Lord.

And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me.
For any of us who live here "in the shadow of the fall" these are wonderfully encouraging words! David knew well that God was his refuge, as do we. Hallelujah!
