Did you see that God even showed Moses what he wanted things to look like?... God of order and detail!! Did you see that the most detail and beauty what in the "heart" of the tint...and there again with the remember... more to ponder.. God is so WONDERFUL!
Heather, you are so right! God is a God of Order! He specifically had particular items, made of particular elements (gold, acacia wood, porpoise skin, fabric, etc.) which had particular meaning. And all was to be given as an offering - willingly - by the people.
This is actually an "awesome" passage to me - which means I am in awe reading it. God provided a plan for the traveling tabernacle for his people who He called His own. Wow! Why have I ever glossed over such passages before? I could (and might) spend lots more time in just this 25th chapter!
