Numbers is a census, isn't it? And praise God that He always has been so organized in His Ways! I see that through all our reading so far - that God always has had a Plan, detailed, organized, well-thought out (perfectly thought-out!) and that God tells His people how to follow that Plan.
This is so exciting! Such revelations in reading God's Word from the beginning!
Numbers 2 - setting camp around the Tabernacle, while leaving space for it. Our "camping around God, while allowing respectful space for God in the center of our lives. Wow! God needs to be in the very center of our daily and entire lives, as we afford Him the respect and honor due our King. Wow again!
WOW Is it Susie! I'm thinking the "furniture" wasn't arranged around the TV but the God of the universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH THAT I WILL KEEP IN THE THE CENTER OF ALL I DO AND SAY AND THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Susie, great picture of how we are to be "encamped" around God in everything we do and as we live. Like Heather said, not around the TV. ha ha. I pray we all grow in our knowledge of and understanding of the holiness of God.
