Day 15 Job Chapters 40-42

"The earth is the Lord's, and all it contains." Psalm 24:1a
Let's remember to encourage each other as we read through the Bible this year!

  1. So glad Job is over on one hand, but isn't just like us to go on like we know it all and look for others sin and look at what is wrong with them. We should look for what is right in them, the Lord Jesus Christ. God is so powerful and wonderful!!!! Two weeks in Job and I can tell you the Lord has caused me to grow!!! Glory and honer be to our God! Job 42:6 "Therefore I retract, and I repent in dust and ashes." All have sinned even Job God counts him as righteous he repents and his redeemer lives! Thankful for Salvation!

  3. I loved the last two chapters of Job! How God deals with Job's friends, how he deals with Job, how Job repents and turns right back to God, how God blesses Job and Job's life continues on with God's outpouring of blessings!

I see God's character qualities of love, justice, and again mercy.

While the book of Job got weighted down (to me) with his friends and the finger-pointing and misery, it's worth getting to the real "end of the story" where God comes in "as a whirlwind" and finishes what He began - perfectly - as always.

Thank you, God, for this most precious book!

  4. Well said Miss Susie. I love reading about Abram (Abraham). Keep seeing myself in his failures. Man, I will never get all this right! Oh yeah I will. When Christ comes for us. See you in Genesis!
