There is so much in these four chapters of Genesis!
It is wonderful to keep seeing how God guides and rescues His children. Love and mercy still. Abram is an important figure of history, and seeing how God guides and directs and has mercy on him is a wonderful reminder to us.
One small thing in the midst of all of today's reading is how Lot settled in Sodom, then was rescued by Abram (chapters 13-14). II Corinthians 6:17 says, "...come out from their midst and be separate, says the Lord." We, as believers, do live separate lives from non-believers.
Again and again, God reveals Himself to those who trust in Him. He is all we need! Let's keep looking to Him and His precious Word.
Wow! So thankful that God is in control. We can sure make a mess of things. Abram tried to help God and got into a real mess. Just like us today. ha ha We never change
